15 October 2013
Dear High 3 Parents and Students,
Please be informed that the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) will be administered to all High Three students on WEDNESDAY, 16 OCTOBER 2013 from 7:30 to 10:25 A.M. There will be regular classes, 3rd period onwards (for the regular – non IB students) after the test and regular dismissal will be observed on this day.
To ensure that the PSAT will be taken successfully, kindly remind your son of the following:
- To be present and early on the day of the test. Absentees will lose the opportunity to take the test – also losing the chance to know how their academic skills fare in comparison with students all over the world and to enter the scholarship program abroad.
- To bring a four-function scientific calculator. Sharing of calculators will not be allowed during the test and the school will not provide for them.
- To bring at least two (2) No. 2 Mongol pencils and eraser. Mechanical pencils are not allowed.
- To do his best by taking the test seriously.
The PSAT will yield valuable data regarding your son’s academic strengths and weaknesses. The test will also serve as a good preparatory exercise for the battery of college entrance exams he will be taking in his senior year.
We hope you can help us give this test the proper attention it deserves. Thank you.
Mrs. Jane Cacacho
High School Principal
