As a grade four student, I can’t do much of what St. Francis did, but in some ways, I can. Some things I can do to follow St. Francis and make God happy are:

At home: I can do some household chores to help my mom and dad and so that they will not have a hard time. Whenever I wake up or before I sleep, I will pray to the Divine Majesty. I can have time to study and time to play, and watch TV.

At school: I will greet my teachers, the guards, and visitors in school. I will throw my trash in the correct bins. I will help my classmates and group mates. I will try my best to behave.

Families: I can donate some things to the needy. I can be a good example to my younger cousins. I can teach young children like my younger cousins how to pray.

All these [things] I can do can be things that you can do, too! These are some things I can do as a Grade 4 student to follow the footsteps of St. Francis.

How about you? How can you follow the footsteps of St. Francis Xavier?
