18 July 2014
Dear Grade 7 to High 4 Parents,
Please be informed that¬†as announced previously (cf. Letter to Parents dated¬†09¬†June 2014), the¬†MID-QUARTER PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCE (PTC)¬†on¬†23 JULY 2014, WEDNESDAY WILL¬†PUSH THROUGH.¬†¬†Due to the recent cancellation of classes, however,¬†the Mid-quarter PTC will only follow a¬†half-day schedule¬†(1:00 ‚Äď 4:00 P.M.)¬†instead of a whole day as we have earlier announced, to make up for the missed classes this week.¬†¬†Thus, there will be regular 1st¬†‚Äď 6th¬†periods (DAY 2)¬†and students are reminded to bring their materials to school.
DISMISSAL for students on this day is as follows:
|G7, G8, G9, G10, H3, H4 IB||12:15 P.M.|
|H3, H4 Non-IB||11:35 A.M.|
Note that the PTC for H3, H4 IB Classes will be scheduled at another time.
Parents of G9 to H4 may enter through GATE 14 while parents of Grades 7 and 8 students may enter through GATES 2 & 10. A directory of teachers and staff location will be available at the specified entrance gates.
To make the PTC as productive as possible, please be guided by the following:
o   Limit your discussion with the subject teachers to urgent matters only.
o   Only parents are allowed to queue. Yayas and drivers are not allowed to reserve a slot in the line. Objects may NOT be left on the chairs to reserve slots, too.
o   In the interest of time, each parent will be allotted 6 minutes with an extension of 2 minutes, if necessary. A CADT Cadet shall cue the parent if his/her time is up.
o   You are encouraged to leave your name and contact number with the student assigned in the room if you feel a longer discussion with the teacher is necessary.
In addition, varsity coaches will be also available from 3:00 ‚Äď 4:00 P.M. on this day to meet with parents with varsity concerns.
The PTC aims to give both the teachers and parents a venue to discuss important concerns about the students for the first quarter.Hence, we request for your full cooperation regarding this matter in order to allow all parents to take advantage of the Parent-Teacher Conference.
Thank you very much.
Ms. Aimee Apolinario
