August 29, 2014 – The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) paid ERDA Technical and Vocational Secondary School a visit bringing with them a life-changing program — The YES (Youth Entrepreneurial Support) Program.
At 1:40 p.m., all the students of the chosen specialization of the said vocational school — the fourth year and fifth year students of Food Trades — were gathered at the school’s AVR Room to take part and hear everything about the YES Program and to learn a little more about the world of entrepreneurship.
The exceptional speakers that shared their knowledge during the said event were Mr. Ryan de los Reyes and Ms. Sarah Cabrera, both from the DOLE Agency. They were the ones who introduced and explained every single concept and information that concerns the said program.
The YES Program is a project that is funded by DOLE to help the youth to build their own businesses with the aid and guidance of their respective schools.
Also among the many qualifying schools for the said program only ERDA Tech got the chance to experience this splendid program which is a blessing for the chosen students who got to experience it.
