Relief Drive for Flood Victims of Typhoon Mario and the Monsoon Rains

Dear Members of the Xavier School San Juan Community,

Xavier School San Juan, in close coordination with the High School Student Council, is organizing a relief effort to collect monetary and material donations for the flood victims of Typhoon Mario and the monsoon rains, especially in Xavier School’s adopted community, Barangay Salapan. 1,500 families are affected. Seventeen streets were flooded and as of this writing, electricity has not yet been restored.

In order to address the urgent needs of the victims, we would like to request that you donate ONLY the goods listed below. Kindly place the goods in an ECO-BAG to avoid the need for sorting so that they may be immediately distributed to the victims. You are encouraged to donate as many relief bags as possible. Each relief bag should contain the following items:

4 pieces Canned goods
6 packs Instant noodles
2 kilos Rice

We will be accepting donations from September 22-23, 2014 (Monday and Tuesday only. Drop off points will be at Gates 2, 4, and 10 of Xavier School, from 6:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. only.

For cash and check donations, kindly place in an envelope and include both donor/student and amount details. Checks must be made payable to Xavier School, Inc. Checks will be accepted and receipted at the Accounting Office in the Administration building.
