The gloomy weather did not dampen the enthusiasm of the Grades 3 and 4 students who attended the Evening with Storytellers activity last October 17, 2014 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM in the Xavier School grounds.
The boys, dressed in their most comfortable pyjamas with stuffed toys in tow, trooped to the Lecture Hall where Mr. John Michael Cuepo of the HS International Baccalaureate Program Office was waiting to regale them with a Chinese folktale entitled The Water Dragon.
After that first plenary storytelling session, the students were in for a treat as they visited different stations located in the Grades 2 and 3 classrooms and heard fascinating stories as told by different storytellers. Volunteer storytellers shared stories that followed the theme “Stories Around the World.”
