XS San Juan GSPO: Kinder and Grade 1 St. Francis Xavier Feast Day Reminders

November 28, 2014

Dear Parents of Kinder and Grade 1 Students,

Greetings of peace on the occasion of the upcoming feast day of our school patron, St. Francis Xavier!

As you know, St. Francis Xavier is the patron saint for missions. This is so because in his great zeal and love for the Lord, St. Francis Xavier traveled across the globe from Spain to France, Portugal, Africa, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Japan, and finally, Shangchuan, China as a missionary, bringing the love and Word of God to different peoples.

We will have our celebration on the week of December 3 through special activities that will trace St. Francis Xavier’s journey across the globe, celebrate his work, and reflect on how we can continue his mission today.    Moreover, we would like to intensify our outreach efforts, which benefit ERDA Tech’s Feeding Program, on this occasion. In line with this, students are asked to bring their assigned item below on or before December 3, Wednesday.

  • Kinder – one pack of any variant of crackers or biscuit (approx. 250 g)
  • G1 – one pack of any variant of powdered milk (approx. 150 g)

Please also note that dismissal of the Grade 1 PM sections on December 3 will be at 2:40 p.m. Kinder AM, Kinder PM and Grade 1 AM dismissals remain the same.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Respectfully yours,

Mrs. Jane C. Cacacho
Grade School Principal
