16 December 2014
Greetings of Peace and Joy!
In the spirit of the Christmas season, we would like to invite you and your family to join us in our annual SIMBANG GABI at 5:30 A.M. on December 19, 2014 at the Sacred Heart Patio. This should be an opportune time for the Xavier community to celebrate the birth of our Lord through this tradition that is considered among the oldest, and most venerable religious traditions still existing in the country. At the same time, we unite ourselves in offering this Mass for peace in our country and the renewal of our lives.
Since this day is still a school day, attendance will be checked at 7:30 A.M. Long tests for all year levels have been scheduled from 7:40 – 8:40 A.M. Christmas activities are lined up from 8:45 onwards, which are meant to foster community spirit, class unity and fellowship with the poor. Note that students who attended the Simbang Gabi will not be allowed to leave the campus during the interval between the end of the Mass and the Flag Ceremony. Food will be made available for purchase by the seniors as part of their H4 Social Entrepreneurship Project at the Sacred Heart Garden after the mass.
DISMISSAL for ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS is at 11:45 A.M. Please make the necessary adjustment in your son’s fetching schedule on this day.
We hope you can be with us during the Simbang Gabi on the 19th. We wish you and your family a grace-filed Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
Ms. Aimee Apolinario
