Dear Grade 6 Parents,

A blessed season of Lent!

We would like to take this opportunity to inform you of the important dates and activities concerning the end of Fourth Quarter.

24 February, Tuesday Last Mentoring Day Dismissal at 3:50 P.M.
26 February, Thursday Last Day of ECA Dismissal at 3:50 P.M.
Clearance Slips will be issued to students with accountabilities.
03 March, Tuesday Half-day for QT Preparation Dismissal at 12:20 P.M.
Last day for clearance
04 March, Wednesday Quarterly Test Day 1 7:30 – 8:35           SCIENCE
8:35 – 9:05           Recess
9:05 – 10:10         CLE
05 March, Thursday Quarterly Test Day 2 7:30 – 8:35           ENGLISH

IMPORTANT: Rehearsal days are considered regular school days. Students with unexcused absence/s during the practice days may be disqualified from joining the Closing Ceremony in the interest of ensuring the success of the program.

25 March, Wednesday Distribution of Report Cards 8:00 – 11:00 A.M. at the Sports Center
Representatives may claim upon presentation of an authorization letter duly signed by the parents.
27 March, Friday Pinaglabanan Day Holiday Xavier School offices will be closed.

1. Proper Attire and Other Requirements

ALL Grade 6 students are expected to wear a beige, long sleeve Barong Tagalog over plain a white t-shirt or ‘camisa de chino’ with black pants, black socks and black leather shoes.  Barber’s cut is also required for the occasion.

2. Seating Arrangement

Due to the limited space at the Angelo King Multi-Purpose Center, seating will be on a “first come, first served basis.”

TWO (2) reserved seats will be allotted for the parents/guardian of each Grade 6 student. Other guests may occupy the open seating area on a “first come, first served basis” at the Fr. Rafael Cortina, S.J. Sports Center.

3. Parking

Vehicles with or without the Xavier School sticker may use the XS Pay Parking Facility at Gate 9 (along Washington Street) as parking area.   Those who will park there shall use Gate 9 as the entrance and exit gate. Parents may also use Gate 2 and Gate 4 as entrance and exit gates.

4. Official Photographer

To maintain the solemnity of the Mass and the ceremony, only the official photographer (Colorpoint Classic, Inc.) of the school will be allowed to take pictures. Arrangements with the official photographer for additional pictures and DVD copies of the ceremony may be made before the event. A table will be set up beside the Lecture Hall and payments may be made directly to the staff of Colorpoint Classic, Inc.

Parents may take their own pictures only after the ceremony.
