XS San Juan: Senior High School Opening of Classes

Pres. Ofc letterhead

1 June 2015

Dear Grade 11 and High 4 Parents,

Please be informed that school opening for your grade levels, except for the IB students, has been postponed by one week. Therefore, your sons in Grade 11 and H4 are now expected to come to school on June 15, Monday, while the rest of the school follows the original schedule that begins on June 8.

The reason for the postponement is to give the school more time to test the utilities of the new building and study the optimal movement of students.

IB students, however, are expected to report to school by 7:30 AM from June 8 to 10 for their IB Orientation. They will be free on June 11. Details of the three-day IB session will be given in a separate circular to be distributed during the Parents’ Orientation.

Please note also that while the classrooms and other basic facilities will be ready for use by June 15, special facilities like the Atrium, Chapel, Roof Garden, etc., will be undergoing finishing touches in the next few weeks.

We ask for the patience and understanding of all as we settle into the new Senior High School building and begin a new milestone in Xavier School. We look forward to a fruitful and meaningful school year ahead.

Thank you very much.

Fr. Aristotle C. Dy, SJ
School President
