In celebration of the late Father Pierre Tritz’s life and mission, ERDA Tech is conducting tours of its Heritage Room. A project of Xavier School Batch ’86, the room is the repository of the school’s 22-year history. Mr. Mark F. Rivera, the moderator of the Student Body Organization (SBO), together with the students in the said group, are the organizers of the tour.
The first class, Grade 10 – Kalayaan, had its tour on Friday, September 23. Every Friday thereafter, the other classes will follow. The students watched a video about the life and works of Father Tritz. Mr. Noe Libradilla, an alumnus of ERDA Tech (Batch 13, Class of 2011) who is also the school’s current teacher in Automotive Servicing, then shared to the students his experiences when he was still a student. A contest, which aims to determine how well the students paid attention to the video and the sharing by their fellow ERDAnian followed. At the end of the tour, each student was given a commemorative sticker featuring Fr. Tritz.
Through the Heritage Room Tour, the students shall hopefully have an intensified school pride and spirit, as well as a renewed commitment to make the most of their education to realize the vision and mission of the founder, the beloved Fr. Tritz.
