Xavier School Nuvali proudly presents its students who have officially become Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. Last Thursday and Friday, September 1 & 2, Xavier School Nuvali invited Mr. Bennie Casas from the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Council and Ms. Rosario Agno from the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Council to officially make our KAB Scouts and Star Scouts into official Boy and Girl Scouts of the Philippines during their investiture.
Among the many events, our scouts took an oath to always fulfill their duties as Scouts and, during the candle lighting ceremony, our Scouts recited the virtues that were taught to them such as kindness and cleanliness. The parents of our scouts were proud to attend the Investiture as they gave their child their pin and scarf or bandana that officially made them well-rounded Boys and Girl Scouts of the Philippines.
The Star Scouts themselves became excited about the investiture. Newly installed Star Scout Bea Domingo of Grade 2 exclaimed, “I liked the part when we were putting on the scarfs, the hats, and the pins.” Another Star Scout, Bella Monte, also from Grade 2 revealed, “I liked marching with the song . . . I was really marching.”
