Xaverians Emerge as Victors in IMOYA, Singapore

Last September 1-4, 2017, Kimmayong Ayahao (12A), Yuan Manolo Ramirez (5F), and Luis Hugo Ramirez (7C) participated in the International Math Open for Young Achievers (IMOYA), held in the United World College, Dover Campus, Singapore, as members of the Philippine contingent.

Faced with competition against 2,203 participants from different schools in China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Iran, Macau, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand, the Philippine contingent bagged 273 medals in total.

Kimmayong won a bronze medal in the Individual Competition, Senior Division and a silver medal in the Team Competition. Yuan won a gold medal and Luis won a silver medal.

Congratulations to Kimmayong Ayahao, Yuan Manalo Ramirez, and Luis Hugo Ramirez! May you continue to let your light shine!
