Last November 19, 2017, the Xavier School Batch ’83 Foundation treated the pediatric patients from the National Children’s Hospital (NCH) and the Pasig City General Hospital (PCGH) to a screening of Justice League at Robinsons Magnolia, Quezon City.
Half an hour before the start of the screening, a line had started to form as the pediatric patients with their families arrived. Members of Batch ’83 attended the special screening together with their respective families. They were led by Sec-Gen Richard Sy-Facunda and Jojo Nolasco. The alumni and their families distributed the tickets, merienda fare, plus, a toy for the patient.
A feeling of great enthusiasm and eagerness were evident on the faces of the children. What a welcome respite it must be – even for just two hours.
This is the 3rd movie premier in two years that Batch ’83 has sponsored for the indigent children around Metro Manila.
