Last December 16, 2017, the 2017 National Parallel Challenge for Future Mathematicians (NPCFM) was held at St. Stephen’s High School. NPCFM is a national competition in form since the participants will compete among themselves and their performance has no bearing on the results of the CFM international group. However, it is an international competition in substance and scope since the contest papers are the same as those of the CFM international group and some CFM rules and regulations are applied.

The following students won gold, silver, and bronze medals in the said competition.

Gold Medal:
Richwynn Ong of 9C

Silver Medal:
Matthew Tansiongkun of  9B
Philmon Wee of  10B

Bronze Medal:
Mikhail Borbe of  7I
Marcus Tansiongkun of  7B
Steven Chua of 10A

Congratulations to these students for a job well done! May they continue to let their light shine in all their endeavors! Luceat Lux!
