Face to Faith

The Face to Faith Program of the Tony Blair Faith Foundation was first introduced to Xavier International Baccalaureate (IB) students in SY 2011-2012 to enrich religious education through respectful dialogue among people of different faiths.

The program features video conferencing among students from different cultures. The students get to discuss various moral and spiritual issues relevant to their lives and keep in touch through the Face to Faith online community. This unique program allows the exchange of ideals and views beyond the confines of the classroom to promote a greater understanding of  each other’s differences and a healthy respect for diversity.

The program has been offered through the Christian Life Education classes.  Xavier students have dialogued with students from India, Italy, Australia, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates, Palestine, the UK and USA, as well as public and private school students from other schools throughout the Philippines.

Xavier School has organized and conducted around 30 Face to Faith video conferences for students since the program started.
